Time Clock Maintenance window
Purpose
Use this window to revise an employee's time clock entries. You might need to do this if, for example, an employee forgets to clock out when they left for lunch.
To access this window
Complete one of the following to access this window.
- On the Modules menu, point to Employee/Messaging and click Time Clock Maintenance.
- Use the keyboard shortcut Alt, M, M, T.

Filter Options |

(date range) |
Enter a range of dates for which you want to display time clock entries. To quickly enter today's date, press T on your keyboard. To quickly back-date or forward-date by one day, use the Hyphen key (-) and Equal key (=) on your keyboard (alternatively, use the Minus Sign and Plus Sign keys on your keyboard number pad). To quickly back-date or forward-date by one month, use the Page Up and Page Down keys on your keyboard. This box supports F6 functionality; the Choose Date window opens. |
(employee) |
Select an employee for whom you want to view time clock entries. |
Clock in/out grid | Displays all time clock entries meeting the filter criteria. |
Time Clock Entry details The following boxes all populate with information based on the time clock entry highlighted in the grid. |

Employee |
Select a different employee, if necessary. |
Date/Time |
Enter a different date or time, as needed. For example, if an employee forgot to clock out until she returned from lunch, you can change the time in this box to the time she left rather than the time she clocked out. |
Location |
Change the location of the highlighted time clock entry, if necessary. |
Work Station |
Change the workstation of the highlighted time clock entry, if necessary. |
In/Out |
Change the In or Out status of the highlighted time clock entry, if necessary. |
Type |
Change the type of the highlighted time clock entry to another, such as jury duty or sick. |
Notes |
Enter any notes about this time clock entry, such as the time and date of the correction. |
Item | Description |

Save | Saves any changes you've made to the time clock record. This button only displays if you've added or edited a time clock record. |
Cancel |
Cancels any changes you've made to the time clock record. This button only displays if you've added or edited a time clock record. |
Delete | Deletes the highlighted time clock record. |
Add | Creates a blank time clock record where you can add clock in or clock out details for an employee. |
Exit | Closes the window. |
